Hey! I think your comic is awesome, and Aero is the most adorable thing ^^ The whole trans gender overtone has a whole lot more heart to it when writer identifies as such. Personally, I've always thought they/them pronouns were a bit odd, and personally think they would be offensive. To me (personally) it's like if you were referring to a person as an it/thing than a human being. But hey, those are my thoughts. Just keep being awesome!!
well they/them by definition is both a way to address a group of people AND a gender neutral pronoun. Its been accepted by most, if not all, the trans community as the latter so its not really offensive to us.
